Head Of HR Needed for a High Quality Hotel in the West End Up To £100,000 Bonuses Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced head of HR to join a luxury high end hospitality establishment in the heart of the West London. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for an experienced head of HR who can deliver on the upkeep on all aspects of HR including training, inductions, performance management, employment law and oversea the whole process. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for a like-minded head of HR who have worked in similar high end hospitality company with experience in all aspects of HR to join their team on a permanent basis.



Job Responsibilities:

Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.



Job Duties:

  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organisation staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counselling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors.
  • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organisation at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains human resource staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experienced in a similar high end hospitality establishment
  • Used to dealing with employment laws
  • Must have strong understanding about HR policies and procedures
  • Be able to work in a high demanding environment
  • Be able to promote communication and processes
  • Involved in all aspects of recruitment, wages, supports diversity and setting up practices
  • Have at least 3-4 years at head of HR level
  • Be proactive and being able to think on their feet
  • Have an upbeat and bubbly personality
