General Manager

Late Licence Venue - Devon

The role:

My Client is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Bar Manager to take the helm of this late licence venue in North Devon.

The venue is currently trading two/three nights a week and has a capacity of approx. 600 over two rooms.

As General Manager of this late licence venue, reporting to the Director, you will have full operational control over the business, maximising all opportunities to drive and increase sales.

As General Manager, you will be commercially aware of current trends as well as being able to deliver regular content, whilst marketing and promoting the business to drive people through the door.

You will have a good understanding of how to control costs, managing your GP and wage percentage.

This is a hands-on role, that requires you to be the face of the business, leading, motivating, training and developing your team to deliver a great experience to all your customers whilst building a strong relationship with the local community.

You will have a good knowledge of music and what fits the business and its clientele.

As the General Manager you will need to build and maintain great relationships with the local council and police, ensuring that the business remains compliant at all times with regards to Licensing Laws & Health & Safety.
