The Job:

A renowned Country House Hotel within Northumberland is seeking a Restaurant Manager to manage the daily operation of this 2-rosette award-winning restaurant. This is full time Permanent position, working 5 days out of 7.

A great personality is key for this role with a warmth and ability to build rapport quickly with staff and guests. You will also be responsible for implementing the new concept of the hotel's brasserie and private dining areas and together they can serve around 150 covers per night and over 250 breakfasts.

The Essential Skills:
* Experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 1 or 2 AA Rosette awarded establishment or high-end Brasserie
* Also have experience in dealing with large operation (over 100 seats restaurant) and therefore have the right mix between understanding of high standards and dealing with high volumes.
* Be an excellent motivator with strong leadership skills
* Career-minded and ambitious, with a desire to succeed
* Ability to welcome guests and ensure that they are satisfied at all times

The Desirable Skills:
* Strong leader with previous experience of managing a dedicated team
* Have the ability to motivate and drive success of your team and department
* Remain calm throughout busy service, ensuring that guests feel like they are special and not rushed throughout their dining experience
* Schedule staff working hours to match the business needs
* Will ideally have 2 rosette experience and be able to drive sales and service by fully engaging the 20 strong team.
