Chef De Partie

Monday to Friday - B&I Contract Catering

The role:

My Client is looking for a passionate and innovative Chef De Partie to work under an exceptional Exec Chef and Head Chef.

As Chef De Partie in this talented team, you will work closely with the Sous chef and ensure the smooth running of the kitchen whilst delivering the highest quality of cuisine

You must have experience within a quality environment, ideally within a contract catering or 4* - 5* hotels.

You will need to be hands on and want to continue to develop your skills within the kitchen whilst helping to coach and develop junior chefs, using only the freshest quality local produce.

Work pattern will be Monday to Friday, usually from 0730-1600. You will also be required to work 1 or 2 evenings for events however this will be at an ad-hoc basis.

The Client:

A very well established Contract Caterer in Canary Wharf. They have approx 8 dining rooms and also other meeting rooms that are catered for.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a 2 Rosette kitchen as a minimum
  • Keen food developer with great attention to detail
  • Continually strive to achieve personal goals and objectives
  • Creative and passionate with knowledge of current food trends
  • Be motivated about delivering fantastic cuisine and driving the business forward
  • Flexible and adaptable to work
  • Ability to manage your workload to meet multiple deadlines and work within a busy and high-pressured environment
  • Strong lines of communication with the kitchen team as well as with the management structure
  • A flair and enthusiasm for cooking
  • A positive approach to menu planning and development of the menu
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent team player
