I am delighted to be working with a Boutique hotel, located in the Lake District, recruiting for an experienced F&B Manager.

A modern, relaxed hotel with 30 bedrooms, Restaurant, and bar where the team take pride in ensuring the finest locally produced food and drink are served in the most luxurious surroundings.

* As F&B Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the restaurant, Lounge bar and Conference and Events. You will be able to show us your passion for and understanding of good food and great wine.
* You will also deputise for the GM who also has a very hands on approach in the operation. The team can work in every department as the hotel is small and help each other out. This is a very friendly, open and welcoming team.
* With a dedicated team, you will oversee the training and development of the F&B team, both scheduled and on the job to ensure your team have excellent product knowledge.
* Take responsibility for Health and Safety within the F&B areas and enforce all food hygiene/health & safety/fire regulations, attending any training as required

This is an important role: in effect, you're a brand ambassador!

I need to speak to experienced Food & Beverage Managers who have:

* A stable 2-year career within an independent or corporate hotel as F&B Manager
* Has strong Food and Beverage Background and be able to manage employee welfare
* Good Knowledge of running the hotel restaurant& bar and keep a cool head when it gets busy during the peak season.
* Lives locally or is able to relocate to the area as we do have Accommodation available

The Package / Benefits / Opportunities

An annual salary circa £24-25,000 per year negotiable for the right person DOE Gratuities bonus scheme plus excellent company benefits .

This is a permanent position , working 5 days out of 7 including evenings and weekends.
Staff accommodation is available , you will have your own room at a reasonable cost
