An exciting opportunity has become available within a luxury 4-star hotel for an experienced Conference and Events Manager to take the operation to the next level in terms of concept and service. This is a great time to join the management team in the development of the business for a luxury, characteristic hotel situated in the heart of Yorkshire.

We're looking for an exceptional Conference & Banqueting Manager or Assistant C&B Manager ready for the next step up, from a 4-star hotel or conference centre, managing a fairly large team to deliver exceptional service consistently within a venue that can hold around 350 guests.

The key thing we need is for you to be able to drive new standards and effect change within a large operation.
You will also need to keep your team motivated during this time of change and support and develop you team to provide warm and intuitive service and a memorable experience for all of our guests.

The Ideal Candidate

* You will need prior conference and events experience in a managerial capacity, preferably from within the hotel industry and a real passion for conference and events is a must for this role
* The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills, being confident in communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally is essential
* You will also have the ability to manage people, particularly when working under pressure and dealing with challenging situations.

The Package / Benefits / Opportunities

We are offering a competitive salary between £32,000 and £35,000 excellent company benefits .
Temporary Live in is available if relocating to the area.
