James Webber Recruitment is very pleased to be recruiting a fantastic Conference and Banqueting Supervisor role within a stunning, award-winning hotel in near St Albans and Watford. The hotel has 100 bedrooms, a busy restaurant and bar operation, and high-quality function spaces catering for a busy Meetings & Events calendar.

On a daily basis, this role would require you to assist the smooth running of the Conference and Banqueting department, covering weddings as well as corporate functions. This is a hands-on position and duties will include:
*Ensuring high quality standards of practice are maintained within the conference & banqueting department
*Organise the junior team effectively to ensure all aspects of the C&B department are covered throughout the course of an event or function
*Delegate tasks in line with funtion sheets
*Maintaining department equipment
*Setting up the beautiful meetings & events rooms
*Working closely with the Food & Beverage Management team to ensure that guests receive high quality service in line with their expectations of the company

The hotel is looking for someone with:

*Excellent communication skills
*Ideally have experience in working within a busy events team
