General Manager

Award winning Pub/restaurant - Bath

I am currently working with a stunning collection of premium, award winning gastro pubs, currently looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead a fabulous team in delivering the highest standards of service, whilst creating memorable experiences for all its guests an one of their leading properties in a great location in Bath

As General Manager, you will come from a premium background and have experience with sales up to £40k p/w. The property serves food all day from breakfast through to dinner, catering for all needs, using the finest locally sourced produce to a one rosette standard.

As General Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the business. Key focus will be on maintaining and increasing standards, growing sales and developing your team. You will have a solid commercial understanding and deliver your P&L's whilst controlling costs and GP's.

You will be an excellent leader with to motivational skills to get the best from your team and create a positive working atmosphere.

Required Skills:

  • 2 years previous experience within a similar role
  • Proven track record in delivering sales and top service
  • Strong kitchen background
  • Innovative and creative
  • Good understanding of P&L
  • Strong leadership & people development skills
  • High level of standards & service
  • Strong community engagement skills
  • Personal Licence holder
  • Full driving licence - this is a live-out position
