Client Services Team Member

The Job:

My client requires a Client Services Team Member based at my client's office based in Central London. The successful candidate will provide an excellent level of service to both internal & external guests and help to promote best practice within the department across all national offices. This is a varied role and there are two key areas to the position:

Corporate Reception: meet & greet all clients (internal & external); answer all internal/external telephone calls; arranging & accepting meeting room bookings; assist with travel arrangements for internal staff; keeping the reception area clean & tidy at all times; to provide occasional cover at other English offices

Hospitality: day-to-day running of the kitchen & meeting rooms providing refreshments throughout the day to internal & external clients; ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean & tidy & meets H&S compliance; ensuring client meeting rooms & seminar rooms are maintained to the highest standards; ordering breakfasts & sandwich lunches; covering evening events & diners in all English offices if required; liaise with caterers & suppliers regarding ordering of stock

The Client:

A national PLC with 8 offices across the UK & 1 overseas office.

The Essential Skills:

Will suit an experienced Receptionist from a 4-star/5-star hotel environment or Corporate Receptionist with strong office admin skills too; would also ideally have some exposure to hospitality service

Must be passionate about the customer service industry & possess the drive to constantly deliver top-class customer service

The ideal candidate will be a natural team player, with a flexible, can do/will do attitude

Experience of using a Mitel switchboard is desirable but not essential

Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, with clients, colleagues & senior management

Ability to utilise tact, discretion & diplomacy & maintain confidentiality at all times

Have excellent time-keeping & flexibility with regards to shift patterns

Ability to work under pressure & to deadlines & to be able to use own initiative

Personal traits would include the following: possess a great personality whilst being genuine, approachable, attentive & instinctive. Must be smart and well presented & have the capability to remain calm when under pressure and be very organised at all times.
