Coastal Pub with rooms - Cornwall

I am currently working with an award winning, diverse and distinctive collection of pubs and inns, with everything from bustling high-street pubs, cosy country inns and beautiful boutique hotels across the South West of England looking for an Exceptional Management Couple for one of their flagship sites to lead their team from the front and deliver a top-class service in this stunningly positioned Pub with rooms in a Fantastic Cornish location.

The position comes with live-in, but ideally you will live within the area, or be looking to relocate, and have great local knowledge.

As a Management Couple, you will be the heart and soul of the business, engaging with the local community, providing great food, fantastic drinks and an unrivalled guest experience.

As a Management Couple, you will have good all-round experience with food, drink & accommodation led operations, maximising sales opportunities across all areas. You will come from a premium background and have experience managing large teams with both FOH & BOH experience.

You will be a great leaders and motivators and inspire your team to create unforgettable memories delivering the highest possible service and standards.

Great location, on the South Coast of Cornwall. 18 letting rooms. T/O approx. £1.9m - Seasonal volume but maintains good trade outside of the Summer months. 40% food / 20% accommodation / 40% Wet sales ranging from £20k p/w out of season to £75k p/w in the summer.

Restaurant has approx. 150 covers with large bar area and outside space for a further 100. Recently refurbished to a high standard

Required Skills:

  • 2 years previous experience within a similar role
  • Proven track record in improving and developing a business with experience in growing hotel rooms.
  • Strong kitchen background
  • Innovative and creative
  • Good understanding of P&L and cost control
  • Strong leadership & people development skills
  • High level of standards & service
  • Strong community engagement skills
  • Personal Licence holder
  • Experience with letting rooms
  • Previous experience within seasonal operations an advantage
