Hotel Spa Manager, Aberdeen

The Job:

Our client is after an enthusiastic Hotel Spa Manager who will report directly into the General Manager. The successful candidate would help to provide the very best guest experience at all times, from arrival to departure. As Hotel Spa Manager, you will be responsible for leading & motivating a team of Spa Therapists across numerous treatment rooms, recruitment, induction, engagement and training & development of the team. Further to this you will also be involved in the sales & marketing of the Spa.

The Essential Skills:

Personal qualities required for the Hotel Spa Manager role are:

  • You must be able to demonstrate a proven spa management track record, or a very strong & experienced Assistant Spa Manager looking for their 1st Spa Manager position
  • Must have good man-management skills & possess the ability to lead & develop a team of spa therapists & receptionists
  • Must possess good experience of developing a Spa business including knowledge of the Sales & Marketing side of the business
  • Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of treatments, procedures and products
  • Possess excellent customer care experience & attention to detail
  • Must be commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets
  • Must possess excellent personal presentation
  • Proven standards of IT skills and good standards of numeracy & literacy
  • Must be highly customer focused with excellent communication skills both face to face, on the telephone & via email
  • Must be highly organised and well versed in completing necessary paperwork
  • Must be self-driven and be able & willing to be 'hands-on' at all times
  • The role will be 5 days out of 7, including some weekend work
