Conference & Banqueting Manager- 4 star Luxury Boutique Hotel Company

Salary £28- 30,000 bonus Benefits

Full Time 40 Hours/week - 5 days out of 7 including evenings and weekends

This popular, well-established Boutique hotel operator in the Leisure and Spa sector, with over 15 locations across the UK is recruiting for an experienced C&B Manager to manage the very busy C&B operation within the hotel, with a very supportive team in place to run Conferences, meetings, birthday parties, private
social events and Weddings.

C&B is a really big part of the business here holding over 100 weddings a year in the marquee and large Great Hall. They can get very busy with a lot of weddings taking place every day during the main wedding season, but the good news is that they are so passionate and caring about the event that they only hold one wedding a day!!

Who we're looking for?

* A C&B Manager with Hotel experience ideally but will also consider you if you are working at a Wedding or Conference venue with weddings and have a solid C&B background
* Someone who has a good level of attention to detail, although we have a strong on-site events Sales team that obtain all the details, but you will be expected to meet the conference or meeting organiser and wedding couple nearer the event.
* An individual who has an amiable personality to understand guests needs & put them at ease when running their event.
* Previous background working within a quality establishment and can drive standards internally & push brand standards too.

About the role
* You have a small team who are willing to learn, drive and be developed to become better at what they do to progress within the company.
* Daily management of the C&B operation, allocating duties to your team to set up rooms, prepare for events and run events on the day in a hands-on capacity.
* The team need development and you will need to give them daily direction.
* You will need to get things in motion, be a self-starter & hit the ground quickly - you will have lots of support there is nothing in your way to stop you from achieving this
