Meeting & Events Sales Manager - Sunbury - 30 K

Our client, a truly unique venue in Sunbury and are currently recruiting for a full time Meeting & Events Sales Manager. The Venue operates a number of flexible meeting spaces with the largest having a maximum capacity for a 300 person seated dinner.

Reporting in to the GM and DOS, you will become an integral member of the team to deliver excellence to all their valued clients in the venue, through the teams in all departments.

As Meeting & Events Sales Manager you will have a real revenue focus and be able to balance both the proactive and reactive sales, and the ability to support the team with the end to end process from enquiry to the point of the actual event.

If you are flexible, well organised, possess excellent communication skills, can work on your own initiative as well as motivating others, have a genuine desire to work in the hospitality industry and are looking for a structured career path.

Meeting & Events Sales Manager Key responsibilities:

  • Achieving revenue goals by executing the sales activities.
  • Proactively drive conversion to maximise revenues.
  • Effective implementation of the pricing strategy, ensuring diary management guidelines are followed and key business decisions are made in conjunction with the rooms division.
  • Effective communication ensuring leads are responded to in the required time and regular contact is made to the progress of each booking
  • Refresh your client business regularly to ensure you maximise your highest converters.
  • Ensure that all site inspections are fulfilled professionally, efficiently and matched to each and every client's needs.
