Operations Manager - Contract Cleaning - London

Looking to speak with Experienced operation managers with strong Cleaning sector experience.

Ideal Operations Manager

  • Will be flexible, confident, compliance aware, proactive and able to work well under pressure.
  • You will be representing the company when meeting and working with clients, so a pleasant personality and self-motivation are key.
  • This role will involve travelling and some late evening/weekend working so flexibility is a must.
  • Will have a proven track record in cleaning contract management
  • Will have a proven track record of staff management
  • Excellent customer service, communication and listening skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Proven planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle objections and think on your feet
  • Results-driven with a strong work ethic & proactive approach
  • Excellent rapport building skills with a confident and outgoing personality
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager

  • Site visits and client liaison.
  • Managing the on-site team, organising rotas, restructuring teams.
  • Ensuring contractual obligations are carried out, such as monitoring KPI's, service-level agreements and local budget management.
  • Assisting Resourcing with the recruitment process and ensuring all new employees are trialled and inducted in line with company policy
  • Liaising with HR to implement and enforce disciplinary procedures and investigations
  • Ensure the team on-site comply with health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Monitor performance of team members, and ensure on-going training is provided and recorded appropriately
  • Continually monitor quality on-site and regularly communicate with clients to ensure service-level agreement are being met
  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow the business within the client organisation, either by extending the scope of the contract or introducing other services.
