Business Support Manager|Contract Catering| Education Sector - Reigate

MY clients are a well established education contract caterer looking for a business support manager to strengthen the team at one of their prestigious contracts in the Reigate area.

The Business Support Manager will be responsible for the running of the School's day to day operations and will particularly focus on driving student engagement, client satisfaction and service delivery as well as being financially sound.

You will play a fundamental part in formulating and delivering strategy. With a strong team of talented individuals reporting in to you, it will be essential that you are used to having teams reporting in to you currently. You will be a strong operator that is currently an Catering Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensuring delivery of the highest standards while providing complete client satisfaction.
  • Liaising directly with the HOD's to ensure smooth delivery of services daily.
  • Supervision and guidance of all parties involved in the management of their departments.
  • You will need experience of working in a Catering Manager or Food and Beverage Manager role, ideally within a upper 4* quality hotel/events centre, with strong knowledge of all departments.
  • Experience of managing, training and developing a successful team and strong examples of personally delivering training and leading effective training processes are essential for this role.
  • The Business Support Manager will have the ability to motivate and delegate effectively.
  • You will need to possess excellent organisation and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use own initiative.
  • Communication skills with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with key management positions in the business and to create a rapport with guests.
  • The ideal Business Support Manager will be enthusiastic, flexible and willing to learn with a professional, prompt and caring attitude.
  • This role requires flexibility with regards to working hours and the ability to travel to some Group properties which may require overnight stays.
