Tell me more about the role...
You will be primarily responsible for providing catering for up to 300 passengers with a discerning environment prior to departure across breakfast and lunch, the role will require you to be able to cook to order and also manage re gen so experience with a qsr is essential. In addition you will be accountable for the health and safety of all food items exiting your kitchens and must ensure all appropriate procedures and precautions are taken.
You'll report to the General Manager and will be tasked with the following:
- As Kitchen Manager you are responsible to ensure the highest standards of quality, service, and compliance within your kitchen/s
- Accountable for ensuring that stock levels are managed and maintained through effective stock ordering and management
- Working with the lounge chefs to adhere to best practices at all times, undertake and deliver training where required whilst communicating with all other Kitchen Managers to ensure consistency across the business
- Working alongside the wider lounge management team to understand the passenger numbers and footfall to achieve set KPI on consumable costs. This role requires you to be fully operational in the day to day running of the kitchen
The standard working hours for this role are 5/7 based on a 40 HR week.

What experience do I need?
My client wants someone who's got experience of running kitchens within quick service restaurants.
They'll also need you to have experience of:
- * overseeing food safety standards in your kitchen/s. Conducting and completing all tasks required to be carried out on our food safety management systems. Accountable for the food safety score within your kitchen/s
- * undertaking all necessary internal checks and audits in all aspects of food safety to deliver 100% process control and performance to brand standards
- * ensure effective monitoring of food safety standards and due diligence documentation is undertaken
- Managing a small team
In addition, it's essential that you possess the following:
- Food safety level 3. Or be willing to undertake and complete this at the cost to the company within 90 days of start
- Outstanding communication skills
- A consistent 5 traceable year work history in the UK

This Chef Manager position offers an attractive basic salary of up to £30,000 per annum for the perfect candidate.
