Job Description

As a Bar Manager you will be responsible for:

• All profit and loss accounts
• Driving revenue through various sales and marketing tools
• Training & developing staff at all levels
• Cocktail creations & costings
• Be able to manage a number of bars
• Be commercially minded
• Planning, organising and coming up with creative working ideas
• Passionate about customer service
• Strong man management skills
• Be able to think on their feet and come up with conclusive ideas
• Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues
• Be able to deal with costs in line with sales

• Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises

The Ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced in a similar high footfall late night club/ cocktail bar background
• Be able to work with teams of over 15+ staff
• Must have strong financial understanding
• Understanding of events
• Be able to work in a high demanding environment
• Able to instruct clear instructions to the senior management team and staff members
• Good understanding about cocktails & creations with great food experience
• Must be flexible in working late nights
• Dealing with Directors
• Licence holder
• Used to being in a customer service background
• Be proactive and being able to think on their feet
• Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority

The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in the high end cocktail bar and club industry.
