Head Chef - Basingstoke - 2AA Rosette - £40K

My client is a leading 4* hotel and events hotel with quality 2AA rosette finedining and large scale banqueting, this role report in the General Manager

The hotel has a strong 2AA rosette finedining restaurant and some of the busiest and best banqueting venues in the area with a plan for new menu concepts and looking forward to a very busy Summer forecasting around 40 weddings and banqueting space up 400cv.

The Role: Head Chef

Role Criteria

• The ideal Head Chef will have previous 2AA rosette background, good banqueting experience along side a Banqueting Sous Chef and 4 or 5 star hotel experience.
• The Head Chef will be responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety
• The Head Chef will be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved
• The Head Chef will be reporting directly into the General Manager.
• The successful Head Chef will have at least 2 years experience at Head Chef & 2AA rosette level or higher within a similar operation.
