Part Time HR Manager - 4-star Hotel - Lake District
The Job:
An experienced Hotel HR Manager is required to work part time within this stunning hotel in the Lake District.
Working a total of 24 hours a week, flexible hours to suit the individual and the business, the successful HR Manager will provide a Human Resources function for the hotel.
This is a generalist role and is all about managing the recruitment & selection process, drive the training & development culture within the property and driving employee engagement. TAs HR Manager, you will also require experience of ER issues & all the associated paperwork too.
Finally, they will ensure the hotels compliance with regards to employment legislation and eligibility requirements as well as being responsible for maintaining employee records via the HR software system but does not include payroll responsibilities.
The Client:
A Luxury Lake District Hotel that has a significant presence in the local area with excellent food and beverage facilities and plans to expand and grow the business within leisure.
The Essential Skills:
* Previous experience operating as a Hotel HR Manager or HR Advisor within a standalone role.
* Capability to recruit talented individuals into the business
* Deliver the Learning & Development strategy
* Possess good knowledge of Health & Safety Procedure and Fire Procedure
* Experience of maintaining personnel records to ensure compliance with statutory requirements & ensuring that the agreed HR administration system is in place
* Drive employee engagement and welfare
* Possess excellent communication skills
* Experience of advising managers on Employee Relations issues & associated paperwork
* CIPD qualification is desired.
* Experience in building teams and strong working relationships.
The Package / Benefits / Opportunities:
The Part Time HR Manager position offers an annual salary in the region of £30-35,000 pro rata for the 24 hours a week and excellent company benefits.
