JWR are delighted to be working with a well known branded hotel, located in the Cheshire West area, who are recruiting for an experienced Front of House or Reception Manager.
With over 80 bedrooms and conference facilities for up to 200 guests, this modern, relaxed hotel is looking for a Reception Manager or Front of House Manager to lead the small team of 4 receptionists and 4-night staff.
* You will be managing the daily operation of the front desk, ensuring the smooth running of shifts.
* Management and analysis of guest satisfaction levels.
* Maximise room occupancy, recognising guests needs to promote hotel services and in house facilities .
* Setting of departmental objectives, policies and targets and rotas.
* Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
* Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team.
* Evaluating the performance of the front office team including Nights.
* Communicating with Management regarding employee and customer service issues.
The Essential Skills:
Personal qualities required are:
* Knowledge of Brilliant will be advantage but if you have knowledge of other PMS will be good.
* Previous experience of managing a reception team at Manager or Supervisor level.
* Must be from a hotel environment and able to work early and late shifts.
* The ability to supervise and lead a team within a fast-paced environment.
* Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be 'hands-on' at all times .
* Have excellent personal presentation.
* Be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail.
The Package / Benefits / Opportunities
* A competitive salary around £25,000 per year, negotiable depending upon your experience
* Working 5-days out 7 per week (40 hours), including weekends, shifts include 7am - 3pm or 3pm - 11pm or 9am - 5.30pm depending upon the business needs.
