Food & Beverage Operations Manager
Luxury Country Estate, Hotel & Spa
JWR is excited to be working with one of the South West's most unique destinations with Hotel, Spa, Restaurants and much more, looking to appoint an experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to oversee two hotels at their luxury estate, based in Somerset.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of 2 restaurants, bars & in-room dining. You will focus on key areas, including service, standards, quality and the financial accountability and profitability of the department.
As Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will be experienced in managing top quality operations within a similar size property to 4/5* standard. Leading with a hands-on approach, you will inspire and lead your teams with exceptional attention to detail.
As Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving the standards across all the F&B outlets within the two properties on the estate, developing your team to deliver exceptional service and experiences to all their guests.
As Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will focus on stock control and achieving GP, ensuring compliance and procedures are adhered to, day to day operations management, staff recruitment, training and development and overall quality control.
This is a great opportunity for an established Food and Beverage Manager looking to continue to progress and develop their career within a luxury operation.
Required Skills:
- Previous operational experience within a similar sized operation.
- Solid understanding of field to fork dining using the highest quality produce
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in F+B
- The highest attention to detail
- Thrive under pressure in an unpredictable environment.
- Hands-on approach with a passion for service
- Pro-active and good at problem-solving, with the ability to manage staff ratios and deliver consistent standards.
- Continually drive forward improvements in products and services.
- Ensure the departmental budgeted revenues and profits are achieved across all F&B outlets
- To monitor all departmental costs and recommend appropriate measures to control them.
- To provide detailed sales, wages and cost forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis.
- To be responsible for all F&B stocktaking, producing detailed monthly results, creating action plans for any stock discrepancies.
- To take full responsibility for all Health and Safety programmes, legal aspects and training within the department.
- Recruit, motivate, train, develop and inspire your team.
- Experience with Microsoft office and PMS and booking systems
