Conference and Banqueting Manager- Hotel - Solihull

JWR are delighted to be working with an excellent 4-star hotel who requires an experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager to join the team. This hotel is major venue in the Birmingham region, with over 180 luxurious rooms, restaurant and bar, Conference facilities for over 400 delegates and leisure.

What will you be doing:
* You will oversee, control and operationally deliver a variety of events across the calendar year; ensuring that the very highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
* With a proven track record in Conference & Banqueting, Weddings, Dinners and other social Events, you will lead a team of full time and casual staff who have been with the hotel a long time
* The Conference & Banqueting Manager must be able to demonstrate your strong leadership skills & the ability to develop a large team
* This role requires you to be flexible in dealing with work demands & changing priorities, be proactive and able to work under pressure

We need someone who has ….

* Previous experience in Conference & Banqueting operations with the ability to run weddings, private social events and meetings.
* Must have strong leadership skills & the ability to develop a team
* The ability to communicate well with others and can carry out instructions
* Confidence to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our guests.
* Experience of working in a VERY fast paced and driven hotel, is preferable but full training is provided.
* a positive can-do attitude and be passionate about the hospitality industry
* a working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting & stock control

The Package / Benefits / Opportunities

An annual salary up to £35,000 dependent upon experience with some fantastic Employee benefits including:
