Deputy Operations Manager
Top Rated Hotel & Spa with Award winning Restaurant
JWR is currently recruiting for a highly ambitious and passionate Hotel Operations Manager with experience within a 4/5 Star background looking for their next challenge.
As Hotel Operations Manager, you will operate and manage the overall day to day activities within the hotel with key focus across the FOH and F&B operation, maintaining the highest levels of 5* Guest Service at all times, ensuring a smooth Guest Journey is delivered during all points of their guests visit from arrival to departure.
You will identify and maximise all sales opportunities and develop the team to do the same.
This is a key position within the business, so the person has to be extremely hard working, dedicated and committed to go the extra mile for their guests, a real people's person, but very much a hands-on person as this is not an office role.
Required Skills:
- Experience within 4/5* environment of at least 12 months.
- Continually monitor the quality of standards in line with client's policies and AA standards
- Oversee all departments within the hotel on a daily basis, assisting department heads in maintaining a smooth operation.
- Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety & Hygiene across all departments
- Monitor and maintain existing F&B control systems ensuring correct profit levels are achieved and maintained.
- Maintain excellent guest relations at all times, seeking feedback to ensure their requirements are always met and their experience within the hotel is of the highest standard.
- Be aware of the revenue and GOP targets, updating your team regularly on how their departments are performing in terms of sales and cost control
- Strong leader and developer of people, you will have an active interest in the interview and selection of your team members.
- Ensure the security of cash, stock and company property are managed
- Carry out regular audits within all departments ensuring standards are being met, and action plans completed to address any concerns.
