Bar Manager - 4-star Hotel Retreat

Are you an experienced Bar Manager or Head Bartender ready to take the next step in your career?

We're looking for an exceptional Bar Manager who can proactively manage our busy bar within our 4-star hotel situated in Northamptonshire. We do have high standards and offer superb quality food and beverage, but are very busy and have high volumes and can often host multiple events at the same time, so you need to be able to handle the demands of the role.

The Essential Skills:

With a diverse clientele, from couples on leisure breaks, business conferences up to 300 delegates, large group of residential golfers, gala diners and Weddings, we need candidates that understand fast pace, high volume business with a bit of flair.

Responsible for the drinks service throughout the day and evening in a bar that offers a variety of drinks and light snacks as table service in a relaxed hotel bar environment.

Being able to keep guests and your team happy sometimes means you creatively think on your feet and that's why you've got to love change - you'll know as well as we do that no two days in hospitality are the same!

Personal qualities required are:

Ideally looking for someone who has spent a few years developing their career in a fast-paced bar and delivering exceptional customer service is preferable and is looking for the next step in their career.

We need someone who understands the following:
* Ordering
* Pricing
* Rotation
* Control
* Some cellar management
* People leadership skills
* Rota management


Due to the location of the venue and the nature of the role, a driving license and own transport is essential.
