Deputy Catering Manager - New Opening!
Following an exciting major Redevelopment Project, our client is a landmark building in Coventry and is seeking an experienced Deputy Catering Manager for its newest Food and Beverage operation which is due to open in April/ May 2021.
This post is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to make a supported career move to what is in effect a stand-alone Food & Drink outlet that is fully supported by the business.

Role Criteria
* The ideal applicant will have previous experience to support the Catering Manager in overseeing the catering function, providing a quality food and drink experience to daytime and evening customers, and implementing an efficient, effective and smooth running of the Events & Conference operation.
* The Deputy Catering Manager will be responsible for high levels of hygiene control and health and safety throughout the department.
* Specifically, the post holder will take responsibility for ensuring that the food and drink outlets maximises income from catering and conference sales and control expenditure.
* Be responsible for cellar management, ensuring accurate stock control through monthly stock checks and cleaning is carefully managed.
* The Deputy Catering Manager will be responsible for staff development and ensuring high levels of catering service.
* The ideal applicant must be highly passionate, excellent food cost controls and the ability to continually raise standards.
* The successful applicant will have at least 3 years' experience of working within a busy bar and food environment, as well as relevant conference and events experience.To be considered for the role, you can only apply through this site as no other applications will be reviewed from any other source.
