Financial Controller

JWR is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller based in the South West Region.

As Financial Controller, you will have excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to implement systems and processes, whilst achieving high standards of work within given timescales.

As Financial Controller, you will be highly professional and flexible in your attitude, providing support to the team as befits their needs. You will have an excellent standard of numeracy, literacy and grammar and recognised accountancy qualifications would be desirable.

Single site or cluster experience within a branded or independent hospitality environment preferred.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience from a similar size/standard operation
• Recognised industry qualifications
• Provide management accounting service using the existing Hotel format.
• Manage production of weekly reports
• Oversee production of period management accounts, providing a concise commentary
• Perform financial appraisal of project and capital expenditure
• Lead the annual budgeting process and supervise the budgetary control system.
• Monitor and manager systems for Key Performance Indicators.
• Review performance against agreed financial objectives, plans and budgets.
• Assist with, and control costing within the business.
• Assist with performance management.
• Prepare financial forecasts.
