JWR is currently working with a popular family run Restaurant Brand, specialising in Southeast Asian cuisine looking to recruit a General Manager for their brand-new restaurant opening, based in Plymouth, due to launch in the Summer of 2022.

As General Manager, you will possess a genuine passion for people and have exceptional levels of standards and service with the ability to operate within branded guidelines, achieving KPI's and other company targets.

As General Manager you will be the heart and soul of the business, engaging with the local community, providing great food, fantastic drinks and exceptional guest experience, whilst being hands on, leading the team from the front line. You will be a strong team builder and turn this popular restaurant brand into the place to be in Plymouth.

Looking for an experienced General Manager full of personality and individuality with the ability to create a fun and friendly environment for both customers and the team. Pre-opening experience an advantage, but not essential

Required Skills:

• Experienced General Manager from similar size and style casual dining operation.
• Recruit, train & develop the best people, continually coaching, guiding and mentoring them to get the best from your team and deliver the best results
• Consistently delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the highest possible standards at all times
• Positive motivator with a passion for hospitality & service
• Full responsibility for the results achieved within the business, controlling all aspects of finance, regularly reviewing your P&L with your team and the operations team, agreeing on future targets & improvements.
• Maximise all sales opportunities
• Comprehensive knowledge of all departments within the business including bar, restaurant, food service, kitchen & office.
• Confident & Self motivated
• Great relationship builder with teams and customers alike

The Package / Benefits / Opportunities:

• Basic salary up to £36k DOE + Guaranteed Tronc (approx. £4k) & Bonus (up to £7.5k based on achieving set Kpi's. Total package circa £45k+
