Head Receptionist Needed for a Quality Fine Dining Restaurant, City Areas Up To £30,000 + Service + Benefits

IMMEDIATE START

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Receptionist to join a high end fine dining restaurant in the City of London areas. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for experienced restaurant Head Receptionist who can meet the high standards needed to cover the reception desk and manage a small team. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in a 5* hotel or fine dining restaurant with experience in reception to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

As a Restaurant Head Receptionist you will be responsible for:

  • Taking telephone calls
  • Providing a warm welcome to every guest
  • All aspects of guest relations
  • Manage a small team
  • Assisting in general enquiries including bookings and reservation requests, dealing with enquiries & reception duties
  • Directing guests to their tables
  • Follow company and department procedures
  • Having good admin skills
  • Help assist and support Co - workers
  • Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues

The Ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in a similar reception role within high end restaurant or hotel
  • Be able to work and manage a small team
  • Be able to work in a high demanding environment
  • Must have high customer service skills with great telephone manners
  • Being able to act upon different situations in a precise and professional manner
  • Able to follow clear instructions
  • Used to dealing with open table
  • Used to dealing with reports
  • Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
  • Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority

The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in front office reception in a hotel environment.
