Event Sales Executive - 4 star Hotel - Cheshire

Our client is a deluxe four-star hotel situated in the Cheshire Countryside is currently recruiting for an exceptionally organised Events Sales Executive.

Offering large meeting and events facilities the role will offer a significant challenge for the suitable candidate in a department that is key to the hotel. To be considered, you will have an excellent background as a hands-on Events Coordinator working in large hotels or conference centres that can accommodate IRO of 400 plus covers.

As the Events Sales Executive :

You will be responsible for driving a variety of business market segments such as: Conference, Banqueting, Weddings, Corporate Group, Sporting Groups and Special Events to maximise C&B revenue and profit through commercial rooms management.
To handle all incoming enquiries in accordance to company operating procedures & BDRC criteria, in order to maximise sales and convert as many existing enquiries and tentative bookings as possible through to and including the contracted stage.

To ensure exceptional guest service is delivered and to maximise selling opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity.

Essential Skills:
* Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar sized property at a 3 or 4 star hotel level
* Used to handling a high volume of enquiries and dealing with these in a timely and professional manner and be able to work the hours to suit the business.
* Have excellent customer service skills to build good relationships with your customers and promote repeat bookings .
