Restaurant Manager - East Sussex
This absolutely stunning water front Hotel undergoing a major refurbishment to include a brand new upmarket bistro style restaurant, private dining room and lounge bar is now looking for a passionate Restaurant Manager looking to be part of the opening team to help Set the standard, drive service levels and play a key role in setting the standard for this NEW OPENING restaurant offering
reporting into the operations manager and GM this operation prides its self on is locality of produce, seasonal menus and its commitment to using the finest produce.
The Role:
To lead and continue the development of the service and team, ensuring it establishes a great reputation for its service and guest experience
Take ownership of the NEW OPENING restaurant and private dining,
staff training and development,
compilation of wine pairing
Rotas, recruitment, inductions
This is a hands on role so running the restaurant is also a key requirement
Essential Skills and experience:
Minimum of 2 years as a restaurant manager gained within modern on trend all fresh elegant restaurants in the UK
knowledge of the upmarket Bistro style dining arena
Strong Wine knowledge
you will be a naturally strong communicator able to deal with a wide array of situations in a warm friendly and personable manner
strong commercial and financial acumen
Desirable skills and experience:
a love of great food and wine
Knowledge of rosette environments
