Be part of a growing company with massive expansion plansAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Operating Officer to join a fast moving innovative hospitality Company in Central London. The company is one that is well respected and a company that provide a number of quality food & drink products to their clientele. The client is proud of their strong client relationships with a high focus on delivering quality standards and service. With a number of existing sites and a number of new openings, the client is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer in the restaurant/hospitality sector who can oversee all aspects of operations and logistics for their existing and new site openings.
Job Description
As a COO you will be responsible for:
- Making sure that the day to day and long term restaurant strategies are met
- Total control for budgets and forecasts
- Regular site visits
- Monitoring restaurant sales strategies to meet expectations
- Oversees the company's daily business operations and administration
- Responsible for all training & development policies alongside the HR team
- Regular communication with Senior Directors & CEO &investors on updates
- Compiling the company financial reports, implementing business strategies and optimising the organisation's operational capabilities
- Help develop the brand for their massive expansion plans in the UK & abroad
- Implementing policies and procedures in line with business needs
- Making sure that sales targets and profit are met
- Be able to think on your feet in order to solve problems
The Ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced Operations Director/COO with at least three/four years working in a casual dining restaurant or hospitality environment
- Evaluating company performance and recommend strategies to improve results
- Able to develop and implement strategies
- Leading and motivating staff to achieve sales and organisational objectives and creating the company culture
- Assessing and enhancing the efficiency of internal and external operational processe
- Experience in dealing with suppliers and 3rd parties
- Strong financial acumen and be able to execute and deliver on sales & budgets
- Focus on attention to detail
- Strengthens operational efficiency and generates revenue
- Establishing policies that improve and promote company vision and culture
- Flexible in working weekends with the needs of the business
- Confident with dealing with presentations with Senior board and Directors
- Understand and implementing restaurant service and standards
- Excellent verbal & written communication
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving the business with a proven track record as an Area Manager in the casual restaurant/ QSR sector.
