Our client is a stunning modern Hotel, located in the Liverpool area & is recruiting for an experienced Wedding & Events Sales Coordinator to join the team.
Duties and responsibilities as Wedding and Events Sales Coordinator
* You will be responsible for the sales, planning and delivery and follow ups of each wedding.
* You will be in charge of all communications between the wedding couples and the venue, conducting show rounds throughout the day and occasional evenings.
* Promoting the venue by designing and hosting fairs and open days alongside the sales team.
* Responsible for all weddings, planning showrounds, from initial enquiry right through to the day of the wedding. Handling bookings, converting them, organising pre wedding menu tasting, handling deposits and payments, liaising with suppliers, final detail run though to handing over the function sheet to the ops team.
* You will be expected to meet your Bride in the morning prior to the ceremony to alleviate any last-minute nerves & be around for a short while after that in the background.We are looking for someone who:
* Has recent experience of coordinating and organising weddings for a busy wedding venue as this is a very reactive role.
* Has great customer Service skills, good work ethic and enjoy being part of a family run and close-knit team.
* Has a knowledge of Opera will be an advantage.
* Who can be flexible with working hours as this role will sometimes involve out of hours work to meet your Bride and Groom but this can be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
