Our client is a 4* 130bed property, part of a globally leading hotel and resort chain based in the Surrey / West Sussex / M25 areas currently looking for a talented Front Office Manager.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front Office Manager, reporting to the Director of Operations who can lead your team of 9 to provide the very best guest experience at all times, from arrival to departure.
We need a talented Front Office Manager who will deal with all everyday issues faced in Front Office, Nights and Guest Service departments, therefore you will need to be organised with a good eye for detail within a 4* hotel setting.* You will be managing the daily operation and coordination of front of house operations, setting up Front Office and Nights procedures to ensure a smooth shift every time, able to manage requests for various room types without disappointing the guest and paying your normal high attention to detail.
* You will need to have experience of managing and analysing guest satisfaction levels.
* Used to maximising room occupancy, recognising guests, promoting hotel services and in-house facilities i.e. Restaurant and Spa.
* Setting of departmental objectives, policies, targets and rotas
* Ensuring team members have a strong and current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
* Communicating with Management regarding employee and customer service issues
The Essential Skills:
* Previous experience at Reception or Front Office Manager level managing a good size Reception & Nights team of 8/9 staff members.
* Ideally from a 4* environment and able to work early and late shifts, working 5 days out of 7.
* Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be an approachable, empathetic and 'hands-on' leader at all times.
* Knowledge of Opera or Opera Cloud will be an advantage.
* Be an excellent team player with first class communication and leadership skills.
