Stylish Hotel, conference & event venue - Oxfordshire
JWR is currently working with a stunning Hotel with large wedding & banqueting facilities in the Oxford area looking for a highly experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and transform the food offer and dynamic of the establishment.
As Head Chef you will work closely alongside the general manager to take the venue to the next level and produce memorable experiences for guests. Whether it be on their wedding day or company conference, the food will be the star of the show.
As Head Chef you will have free reign over the menu to really implement your own style and make the venue stand out from others in the area.
Set in 22 acres tranquil Oxfordshire countryside the Hotel offers a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Head Chef to really step up the offerings throughout the menus and gain recognition for their achievements.
Required Skills:
- Delivering high volumes of high-quality food.
- Menu development with excellent control of Gross profit and pricing.
- Be aware of industry trends and regularly change the menus with seasonality of produce in mind.
- Manage and be responsible for rotating the team and controlling budgeted staff costs.
- Always maintain EHO standards.
- Individual style shown throughout each menu.
- Experience of working in a fresh food kitchen environment
- Experienced in banqueting and large-scale events
- The ability to work under pressure and a passion for constructing innovative and exciting menus
- Recruit, train and develop a passionate kitchen team
- Building relationships with supplier, kitchen management, stock, GP's
