Role: Hotel Financial Controller
Location: East Yorkshire region
Salary: Annual salary between £40 - 45K with excellent company benefits including:

The Job:
A large 4-star hotel situated in the heart of East Yorkshire is recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller.
As a key member of the Hotel's senior management team reporting directly to the GM, the Financial Controller will oversee all financial reporting including the hotels P&L account, month end reporting, payroll, weekly/monthly forecasting/budgeting, supplier payments, aged debt, preparation of quarterly VAT returns, support in managing the hotel payroll & the control of all financial processes within the operation.
The Essential Skills:
* Must possess a proven track record of leading & motivating a hotel finance team within a high volume 4 star self-accounting environment
* Be highly motivated with a strong strategic understanding of business dynamics
* Must be great at managing a team as well as managing/coaching managers with finance processes
* Be able to challenge the status quo with better practices.
Create and drive SOPs;
* Have previous hotel/hospitality finance management experience.
* Must be an excellent problem solver & possess the ability to 'think on their feet' & to remain calm & effective in all situations
