Required Skills:

• Delivering high volumes of high-quality food.
• Menu development with excellent control of Gross profit and pricing.
• Be aware of industry trends and regularly change the menus with seasonality of produce in mind.
• Manage and be responsible for rotating the team and controlling budgeted staff costs.
• Always maintain EHO standards.
• Individual style shown throughout each menu.
• Experience of working in a fresh food kitchen environment
• Experienced in banqueting and large-scale events
• The ability to work under pressure and a passion for constructing innovative and exciting menus
• Recruit, train and develop a passionate kitchen team
• Building relationships with supplier, kitchen management, stock, GP's

JWR is excited to be working with a top hotel located on the outskirts of Coventry, looking for an experienced Head Chef to join their kitchen team with the view of taking the kitchen to the next level while upholding the already exceptional reputation.

As Head Chef you will have to display individual style and flair across all menus including, breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and events, creating modern, clean, healthy, well balanced & vibrant dishes using the best local & seasonal produce available.

The hotel boasts 105 elegant bedrooms & 8 conference and banqueting rooms, so experience with high volume weddings and events is key for this rare opportunity.
