Role : Conference & Banqueting Manager
Location : Lake District
Salary : Around £30,000 per year plus Hotel can offer short term accommodation if relocating to the area, with rental properties available nearby in the main town.An experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager is required for a 4-star hotel, near Lake Windermere.
Looking for an ambitious Conference & Banqueting Manager who will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and have a passion for quality of service and high standards within the meeting & events operation. Hotel runs around 70-80 weddings in the main season, with a main function room up to 250 guests.Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will always have their ongoing support to assist you with the planning, organisation and delivery of each event.
We need someone who has:
* Previous experience in Conference & Banqueting operations with the ability to run weddings, private social events and meetings.
* Must have strong leadership skills & the ability to develop a small team
* The ability to communicate well with others and can carry out instructions
* Confidence to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our guests.
* Experience of working in a hotel is preferable
