JWR is currently working with a leading Music & Arts Event Operator looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team as they continue to expand the with lots of exciting projects planned within the Bristol Area.The Package / Benefits / Opportunities
£30-£40k+Bonus Dependent on experience with bonus

The company operates one of Bristol's most popular Venues and event spaces and attracts guests from all over the UK with lots of ambitious plans to grow the business further.As Business Development Manager, you will help increase the commercial awareness of the company's event spaces to increase revenue and build and maintain existing client base.
As Business Development Manager, you will have previous experience from a large event/venue-based operation with proven track record in increasing sales and solid marketing capabilities to continue to develop and promote brand awareness. A good understanding of commercial partnership and sponsorship would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in event/venue related sales & marketing.
- Target new business sales opportunities and secure repeat business, whilst managing.
- An understanding of commercial partnership and working with sponsorship.
- Developing the commercial arm of a successful cultural events business.
- Maximise the quantity and quality of commercial events.
- Develop and create marketing initiatives to raise the commercial awareness of the portfolio
- To deliver monthly revenue and activity reports as specified by the Company Directors
- To Accurately and timely complete handover information to the co-ordination team.
- Outgoing personality with the drive to succeed, ability to maximise revenue, whilst working to agreed deadlines.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practice
- To represent the venue at industry networking events (as appropriate and required)
- Experience within the hospitality/events industry
- Will be experienced in producing and achieving sales plans/targets and developing business strategy
