Role: Maintenance Manager
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Around £30,000 per year ( Negotiable depending upon experience) plus extensive Employee benefits!
I am delighted to be working with a modern, 4-star hotel, with a franchise from a well-known and recognised brand, situated in Central Sheffield, to find an experienced Maintenance Manager.
* As Maintenance Manager, you will take control and ownership for the general day-to-day maintenance of a medium sized hotel operation, as well as the statutory compliance within fire, health & safety . You will also make recommendations for project work, including an imminent refurbishment programme.
Personal qualities required for the Maintenance Manager position are:
* You must possess a practical working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, health & safety and fire regulations within a hotel property environment.
* Possess a steady career in the UK hotel industry as a Hotel Maintenance Manager & have experience in a similar role.
* Must have good admin skills including a strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Risk Assessment record keeping.
* Must be commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets.
* Must be able to work a variety of shifts, 40 hours - 5 out of 7 including call-outs.
* Proven standards of IT skills and good standards of numeracy & literacy
* Must be highly customer focused with excellent communication skills.
* Must be highly organised and be a very hands-on person & well versed in working in a team.
