The Hotel Restaurant is currently undergoing significant investment and refurbishment to re-brand and re-position its current offering. The position is available from March 2023Working alongside an experienced GM & Exec Chef, as Head Chef in this talented team you will be overseeing the brigade and responsible for recruiting, training, developing and motivating the team in delivering amazing cuisine and exceptional standards for every dish that leaves the kitchen.
Along with an incredibly talented Executive Head Chef, you will support in creating and costing stunning menus using only the finest locally sourced ingredients, whilst implementing policies and procedures and ensuring the kitchen operation always complies to the highest of standards.
This busy restaurant has been awarded with two rosettes, and regularly serves 200 covers for breakfast as well as lunch, dinner service and afternoon teas.

Currently a Head Chef within a similar volume driven environment from a 4/5* background.
Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking.
Adhere to all company and government food safety legislation's.
Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you.
Have the ability to work under pressure and a passion for constructing innovative and exciting menus.
Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on the spot solutions.
Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual.
Proven track record in delivering high quality dishes in a time pressured environment.
Manage ordering and controlling of stock.
Passionate about food, standards & results.
