An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced Senior Sous Chef to join a upmarket company in the West End. They want someone who can come into the business who can design the new menu and create the restaurant offers with regular menu changes along with the Head Chef and someone who understands all about forward planning. The client and is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere. They are looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef who can deliver the highest levels of quality food their refined customers. They are looking for like-minded individuals who have worked in similar upmarket restaurants with experience at Senior Sous Chef level to join their team on a permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for cooking with creative ingredients
• A leader not a boss
• A creative flair
• Flexible in working weekends
• Used to working in a high volume environment
• Understand all about contract catering
• Managing a brigade of 15+
• Likes to train and develop others
• Spanish food would be desirable but not essential
• Must have fresh food experience & dealing with high volume
• Must be able to deal with daily/weekly and seasonal menu changes
• Deal with fresh produce
• Likes to be hands on and lead the team from the front
• Experience with GP, costing, wastage management, ordering, stock etc..
• Strong health & safety knowledge
• A stable work history
