An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to join a funky high volume drinks led pub based in the Ipswich areas. Would you like to be treated as an individual? The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere with a high focus is on delivering standards and service. They are now looking for a strong General Manager who has a similar drinks led background working in a fast paced drinks led pub/club environment.
Job Description
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- The day to day running of the business
- Involved in all elements of stock control and gross profit margins & all financials
- Managing and inspiring at team of over 20+
- Experienced in high volume drinks led pubs & sports bars/clubs
- Staff recruitment
- Maintaining brand standards
- Training and development of staff
- Working under pressure
- Be able to think on your feet in order to solve problems
The Ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced Deputy Manager or above with at least two years working in a funky high volume drinks led pub environment
- Able to develop and implement strategies
- Good understanding of stock control and gross profit margins
- MUST be flexible in working various shifts
- MUST have high volume experience
- Help assist with the General Manager on daily operations
- Be able to manage teams
- Must have some understanding about food
- Experience working towards targets
- Focus on attention to detail
- Dealing with senior Area Managers & Directors
- Passionate about quality drinks
- Friendly and socialable personality
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in a drinks led pub/club industry.
