JWR is currently working with a premium pub company, looking to recruit a Deputy/assistant Manager for their site based in Chipping Norton which is part of a group of established Pubs with a great mix of community and destination led operations across the UK, all with fantastic character and potential.

As Deputy/Assistant Manager, working alongside the General Manager, you will be the heart and soul of the business, engaging with the local community, providing great food, fantastic drinks and exceptional guest experience leading the team from the front line and having a hands-on approach. You will be a strong team builder and turn this popular pub into an even busier one.
As Deputy/assistant manager, you will possess a genuine passion for people and have exceptional levels of standards and service with the ability to operate within branded guidelines, achieving KPI's and other company targets.
Offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service this opportunity would ideally suit someone with both volume and quality, strong people management skills and attention to detail.
This role is all about improving and driving the standards to ensure the guest experience is second to none.
You would be joining a popular, family focused premium pub company with multiple establishments across the UK putting people at the heart of all they do.
Required Skills
Experienced Deputy/Assistant Manager from similar size and style pub/inn operation.
Coaching, guiding and mentoring staff to get the best from your team and deliver the best results.
Consistently delivering excellent customer service and always maintaining the highest possible standards.
Positive motivator with a passion for hospitality & service.
Support with the results achieved within the business, controlling all aspects of finance and customer care.
Maximise all sales opportunities.
Comprehensive knowledge of all departments within the business including bar, restaurant, food service, kitchen & office.
Confident & Self-motivated.
Great relationship builder with teams and customers alike.
