As Head Chef in this super pub, you will work alongside an experienced General Manager with a passion for the business focusing on traditional, high quality British pub food with strong carvery offer.The menu offers great pub food all cooked fresh. This role would suit someone from a high-volume gastro/Premium branded pub/restaurant background.
The Pub is set in a great location and has an excellent reputation within the area. Strong turnover with seasonal volume, so high-volume experience essential. The position has the option to live-in, but ideally you will have good local knowledge of the area or be looking to relocate.
Required Skills
Currently a Head Chef within a similar busy premium pub environment
Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking.
Adhere to food safety legislation.
Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction.
Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you.
Have the ability to work under pressure with a proven track record in delivering high quality dishes in a time pressured environment.
Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions.
Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
Manage ordering and controlling of stock.
