IMMEDIATE START
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced Pastry Chef to join an upmarket lifestyle restaurant company already established in the Mayfair areas. The restaurant offers locally sourced fresh food with regular menu changes. The client and is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere. They are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef who can deliver the highest levels of quality desserts to their refined customers. They are looking for like-minded individuals who have worked in similar quality fine dining restaurants/hotels with experience at Pastry Chef level to join their team on a permanent basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for cooking with Pastry
- A leader not a boss
- A creative flair
- Managing a small team
- Used to working in a high volume environment
- Likes to train and develop others
- Understands the subtle ways that different flavours work
- MUST have experience in Pastry in a quality fine dining restaurant or hotel
- Likes to be hands on and lead the team from the front
- Experience with GP, costing, wastage management, ordering, stock etc..
- Strong health & safety knowledge
- A stable work history
