JWR is currently recruiting for a Regional Leisure Manager for a forward-thinking Academy Trust, operating in South Devon

As Regional Leisure Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of three Fitness & Sports Centres & Letting sites in the South Devon Area, delivering exceptional customer service, financial returns and enhancing the trusts profile within the area.As regional Leisure Manager, reporting to the Head of Business Development, whilst supporting Centre Managers, your role will be to focus on the overall business development of the three centres, driving awareness and maximising the use of all areas the facilities have to offer, which include Gyms, sports halls, dance studios, 3G and grass pitches and multi-use facilities and spaces.
As Regional Leisure Manager, you will have a solid operational background and sales background within the leisure, health & fitness sector, and be able to identify and maximise all potential sales opportunities, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders alike
Required skills
Strong operational & sales experience within leisure, health & fitness sector.
Multi-site experience an advantage.
Excellent communication and time management.
Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
Long- and short-term Financial and Sales & Marketing planning.
Maximise sales opportunities across all areas of the business.
Management of budgets and financial forecasting.
Grow and retain existing members, continually enhancing the trusts reputation.
Operate Facilities to the highest Health & Safety standards.
Provide coaching, training and development to Heads of departments and team to drive sales and deliver best possible experience at all times.
Oversee Housekeeping and maintenance of facilities.
Work with local bodies to gain sporting grants and funding opportunities.
