LOCATION: Blackburn
SALARY: up to £30,000 per year plus tips, incentives, bonus schemes and many Employee Benefits.
An experienced Front Office Manager is required for a stunning, award winning, boutique country hotel, set in 54 acres of Ribble Valley countryside.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Office / Reception Manager to manage the day-to-day front desk operation of this 30 + bedroom hotel.
We need an experienced Hotel Front Office Manager to support the team to provide the very best guest experience at all times, from arrival to departure.
Your duties will include:
* Managing the daily operation of the front desk, ensuring the smooth running of day and night shifts.
* Management and analysis of guest satisfaction levels.
* Maximising room occupancy and room bookings by delivering an excellent yet efficient reservations service, recognising guests needs to promote hotel services and in house facilities.
* Setting of departmental objectives, policies and targets and rotas.
* Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
* Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team.
* Evaluating the performance of the front office team including Nights
* Communicating with Management regarding employee and customer service issues
The Essential Skills:
Personal qualities required are:
* Previous experience of managing a small reception & nights team at Manager or Supervisor level
* Ideally from a hotel environment and able to work early and late shifts are essential.
* The ability to supervise and lead a team within a fast-paced environment.
* Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be 'hands-on' at all times.
* Have excellent personal presentation.
* Be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail.
