Hotel Reception Manager

ROLE: Hotel Reception Manager - excellent working hours of 8am-8pm
LOCATION: Gloucestershire
SALARY: £30-33K plus bonus and incentives

A luxury Independent 4-star hotel with full leisure & Golf facilities within the stunning Gloucestershire countryside are looking for an experienced Reception Manager to join the team. The hotel has an exceptional reputation for quality and service and is very popular for Leisure Breaks and Weddings as well as Conferences and Business travel.

* We need a Reception Manager who can lead a small team to provide the very best guest experience at all times, from arrival to departure.
* You will be managing the daily operation with a team, ensuring the smooth running of shifts.
* This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days working the hours of 8am - 8pm or similar. This will include weekends on a rota basis - something you will be responsible for.
* Management and analysis of guest satisfaction levels on the front desk and in other areas too.
* Present a welcoming impression to our guests by all reception staff both on the telephone and in person.
* Communicating with Management regarding employee and customer service issues

Personal qualities required are:

* Previous experience of managing a reception team of 6 at Manager or Supervisor level , ideally from an independent hotel.
* The ability to supervise and lead a team within a fast-paced environment.
* Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be always 'hands-on' & lead by example.
* Have excellent personal presentation and encourage that in your team.
* Be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail
