Description

The Employer seeking to appoint a Director of Sales

  • An international hotel group that is growing rapidly.
  • The role will be to oversee a team of three in pro-active sales for a property with circa 380 beds.
  • An exceptional group of hotels with an excellent portfolio ranging from city centre to large conference venues.

Responsibilities of the Director of Sales.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the hotel's business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotions and campaigns that generate interest and drive bookings.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to ensure ongoing business development and growth.
  • Manage the sales team, providing leadership, guidance, and training to ensure they meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, forecasting revenue and expenses, and reporting on sales performance to senior management.
  • Work closely with other departments, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure the hotel delivers exceptional guest experiences and meets customer expectations.

The Director of Sales Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in hotel sales management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Analytical skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales-related software.
