The Employer seeking to appoint a Director of Sales
- An international hotel group that is growing rapidly.
- The role will be to oversee a team of three in pro-active sales for a property with circa 380 beds.
- An exceptional group of hotels with an excellent portfolio ranging from city centre to large conference venues.
Responsibilities of the Director of Sales.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the hotel's business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotions and campaigns that generate interest and drive bookings.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to ensure ongoing business development and growth.
- Manage the sales team, providing leadership, guidance, and training to ensure they meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, forecasting revenue and expenses, and reporting on sales performance to senior management.
- Work closely with other departments, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure the hotel delivers exceptional guest experiences and meets customer expectations.
The Director of Sales Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in hotel sales management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Analytical skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales-related software.
