Required Skills

• Head Chef or Catering Manager from a quality, fresh food background.
• Good knowledge of Allergens and healthy balanced food offerings.
• Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
• Run the kitchen brigade of 15 to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain GP% & minimise wastage through proper stock control and menu development.
• Manage all Kitchen H&S Systems and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to consistently deliver on quality and client's requirements.
• Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions.
• Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual.

Great opportunity for an experienced Executive Head Chef / Catering Manager to join a forward-thinking contract caterer within the education sector, looking to provide their client's schools with a better quality food offer.

As Head Chef, reporting to the Executive Head Chef, you will need to be hands-on and work with your team of 15 to provide fresh, healthy & well-balanced meals for the students at the school.

As Head Chef, you will have strong management and development skills and the ability to build, develop and coach your team, whilst engaging with the students to explore different cuisines.

Successful candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check, paid for by the company.
